Not mentioning something you’d rather forget about when it has nothing to do with your current life, or you as a person, is perfectly reasonable to me. If she’d asked him, that’s different. But it sounds like he just chose not to bring up a past mistake that might sour the wedding planning. My guess is that she would have had a problem with him bringing it up too. Dude’s better off.

I told him how vulnerable and sensitive my other friend was at the moment due to some personal things going on in his life. I told him in an effort to make him take polite precautions with my raw, suffering friend, but he ended up using the information for what was honestly the most revolting display of deliberate, manipulative reactive abuse I've ever seen. It changed how I looked at him. It was like watching someone kick the crutches out from beneath a disabled beggar. I couldn't see him as anything but a predator from that point. 20 years of friendship down the drain, and all I have to show for it is the ceaseless drumming of the thought of how I could possibly have been so stupid to not notice FOR 20 YEARS that he was more than a snarky, sarcastic, bitchy Regina George wannabe; he was a genuinely evil, predatory, combative, adversarial, snarling demon twink who just wanted to feel powerful by preying on people in weak moments.

Found out he had gotten two other girls pregnant. Then asked for a DNA test. Never got the test bc our son looks just like him. Third girl just had her baby thought it was a boy the whole time, she gave birth and boom GIRL?!? She’s crazy think she lied about it & think that baby really isn’t his. First two could pass as twins (boy/girl) third one doesnt look anything like him. Didn’t tell him until I was 3 months, told me about the other girl the same day and he said if you would’ve told me sooner it would’ve just been him.. knew about the two and still went and got the third knocked up. Was there for my son’s birth but lied to the other two and said he was outta town for work so he wouldn’t have to be there. Told them to get to un alive the babies when they told him.. told me he had been trying to trap me since he met me (3years he trapped me on a drunk night) was basically our goodbye and well..hate him more everyday. Only cares about his son not his daughter’s. third girl stalks me and BM 2. Had to block her. Sperm doner lives his best life and calls me a whore all the time bc he has a guilty conscience. Oh and had a gf whole time we were tg. Didn’t find out until she showed up to his bday… she’s the lucky one bc it’s just her past now..

We were sitting watching TV and something on it, real or not I forget, was a man who had a daughter he was forbidden to see. “I know how he feels.” Just being silly. “You better not have a kid you never told me about!” “She’s 4, her mom died in childbirth, she was a foreign national in her home country, her dad has powerful political connections and my name isn’t on the birth certificate. If I try to fly there under my own name I’ll be arrested and deported.” I made it all up, just to be silly, loosely based on the Sean Goldman story. It was current at the time, and she didn’t recognize it.

Ending it over a divorce is crazy ngl 😅 I know she doesnt say if she did but not at least hearing the other person's side in depth is kinda nuts. Other people have a past, it's ok if theyre ashamed to say certain things. If you arent willing to work with someone and be a safe place to communicate their fears and things they judge themselves for than you arent ready for marriage.
