my dm allowed me to use lines outside the session but it had to be from tv or music media. if ever I got the sense we were in danger the party would break out in laughter hearing Elvis go "oh mama"

would be hilarious if in an online dnd session the player playing a Kenku was really good at clipping and made a soundboard of words played through a croaky filter to talk

Im happy to say that I am learning about DnD and instantly recognized that he was a Kenku. My knowledge comes from Legends of Avantris

actually tried that in a way my character had the Actor Feat, so I was able to "Record" our Kenku with the words needed, basically I would say it in the voices of the people they wanted to mimic and they would memorize it and repeat it later

my vilen ideas :
when I played a kenku I used my ability to do different voices to make things so unsettling cause every time I said something incredibly fucked I just switched to a little girls voice innocently saying it something wise or like I'm explaining something in an old man's voice and no is always in a woman's voice so with a few lines of dialogue it unintentionally developed a very clear and dark backstory that I just went along with cause I thought it was hilarious
