@jaybello7: Did Paul really call God's Ten Commandments a curse? Or have we been misunderstanding Galatians 3:13? Galatians 3:10 was speaking about the book of the law. Paul never said God's ten commandments was a curse. “The law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.” - Romans 7:12 Romans 7:7 (KJV) “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.” Don't confuse freedom from condemnation with freedom to disobey God! #BibleTruth #Galatians #TenCommandments #ChristianTikTok #JesusChrist
Its always been about Christ. One man, sin came into the world. By one man, Christ, righteousness

Being released from the Mosaic covenant includes the Ten Commandments because Scripture explicitly identifies them as part of that covenant (Deuteronomy 4:13).
Paul even refers to the commandments engraved on stone as part of the old covenant ministry in 2 Corinthians 3:7–11. He contrasts that ministry with the greater, enduring ministry of the Holy Spirit.
But being released from the Mosaic covenant doesn’t mean murder, adultery, theft, or idolatry suddenly become acceptable. God’s moral character hasn’t changed, but our covenant relationship with Him has.
Under the new covenant, we are led by the Holy Spirit and live under the law of Christ (Galatians 5:18; 6:2). Love fulfills the law (Romans 13:8–10).
Here’s my question for Adventists: If the Ten Commandments are the old covenant’s written code, why must Christians remain under that covenant to recognize God’s moral standards?
We don’t need to return to Sinai to know that murder is wrong. The Holy Spirit who lives within believers is God Himself. He doesn’t lead us into sin; He transforms our hearts to reflect Christ.
We haven’t been released from righteousness. We’ve been released from the old covenant to belong to Christ (Romans 7:4–6).

One thing to understand is Paul was not referring to the Gentiles when he writes “us” bc Gentiles didn’t need to be redeemed bc they were never under the law but some were trying to put them under it. Instead, Paul was referring to himself and the brethren that was with him. It was them who were once under the law who Christ had now redeemed from that particular curse of not continuing in the law. Galatians 1: 1-9 explains this when Paul writes “we” and “you”.

I take great pride in Jesus my Lord. He is my righteousness. Jesus is my holiness, my redemption, and my wisdom. I am God's own righteousness. I am complete in Christ. Halleluyah. I don't need the law because I have Christ. I am not a slave, I am a son. Praise God forever.

It simply means the righteous do not need the law. They can live a holy life without the help of the law. In fact, the law produces sin.
