It’s so funny. Watching my 3 year old grow right in front of me and it feels like no time has passed. He was a baby and now a toddler that bullies us at home. But the days are long. The nights were long. The moments where I just want some peace and quiet..seem so long. Then I sit down at the end of day and wonder where did the day go. How did I blink and a day full of fun, excitement, tears, and laughter fade so quickly in to the night? Tomorrow we get to do it again but it feels as if the moment has already passed. It’s an odd feeling.

I used to count down the days until the weekend, and was painfully aware at all times of what week and what month we were in to meet deadline goals for work, but never knew what time it was until I clocked out. Now I’m a stay at home mom. My baby wakes up at 8am, eats and naps every 2 hours, bath time at 6:30pm, bed by 7:30pm… but now, sometimes I don’t know what day it is anymore, and I’m still trying to figure out where 3 months have gone already. 😓
