@livesouthbaylocal: Our second year at the Los Angeles Printers Fair. 🖨️❤️ When Russ and I attended last year, we were surprised by how much fun we had, so we were really excited to go again this year. There is so much to see and do, from vintage printing presses and letterpress demonstrations to printmaking, handmade cards, posters, and so many hands-on experiences. One of my favorite stops this year was Fugu Fugu Press. We were so impressed with their beautiful letterpress work and loved meeting Shino and Ken. I picked up a bunch of their cards, and I can’t wait to use them. We also really enjoyed visiting Typewriter Connection. I’ve been eyeing typewriters for a while now, and I learned that every machine has its own feel and typing experience. It’s hard to know what you’re getting when shopping online, so being able to try different typewriters, ask questions, and connect with someone local who knows so much about them was such a great experience. The Los Angeles Printers Fair goes until today, October 18 at 4 pm. 📍 International Printing Museum 315 W.
