Yes!! NICU nurse here. Sometimes they tense up their muscles after being pat on the back. If you stop every so often and rub their head, they relax and let out a huge burp

wow I wish I would of known this when my son was a baby, he was so gassy and had an upset stomach so much. we tried all kinds of different things to help but I've never heard this one!
