@upnorthlivenews: The Halloween tradition that stirred up some controversy this season has now reached an understanding with the city. The Dead Ends on Spruce Halloween display got approval to carry on operations for its final season at owner Nate Taylor's home. The Dead Ends on Spruce is a free Halloween display put up annually by Taylor in his own front yard. He calls it his "gift to the community." But with the display seeming to attract more people each year, questions swirled about whether he was legally allowed to operate the attraction. Taylor already made it clear this will be his last year putting the display up outside of his home. Taylor posted on Facebook yesterday that the city granted a permit to close the street on Halloween night. From 5 to 10 p.m., South Spruce Street will be closed between Sixth and Seventh Street on Oct. 31. Until then, Taylor said the public is still welcome to visit the display after 5 p.m. on weekends and after 6 p.m. on weekdays. #halloween #localpolitics #halloweendisplay #michigannews #foryoupagе
