We had raw potatoes last year. Just wanted to see what would take them. Didn't think anyone would. Kids would choose them over a full size chocolate bars. If they got a potato I would still try and give them a chocolate bar. one mom took a few potatoes. This year, I'm thinking about putting Ramen, potatoes, and full-size bars.

One older lady in my parents neighborhood makes homemade bracelets and hands them out every year. So far collectively my kids have 4! I'll be so sad when they don't get them anymore 🥺

My brother and I once went to this old man’s house, he wasn’t expecting trick or treaters as they never come to his house so he gave us an apple and an orange out of his fruit bowl🥹 He was so sweet, when he asked if I was happy I couldn’t tell him I hate oranges lol😭♥️
