For me, I got over what other people said about me. But it’s the call to authority that still interferes with my ability for function. I constantly think that there is someone in a position above me, watching my every move ready to get me in trouble.

I am never content with my achievements, I dont celebrate any "wins" and doing anything "special" makes me feel like a fraud or a "larper" like I didnt actually earn my spot, like it was just handed to me, I can't really articulate it very well but yeah, I feel like I am lying and someone is gonna be like "oh you faker, quit bs-ing and give it up to someone who actually worked for it" type shi idk its stupid, I dont fw it, I lowkey just wanna mind my own business all the time and not celebrate in all honesty

It made me form a habit of internalizing everything someone says to me or even their body language. But it also improved my emotional intelligence, so now I know how to make sure people feel heard and listened to, and I do small things like, if someone was talked over in a group, I’d ask what they said because not being heard hurts. It helped me learn that some people need advice, some need comfort, and some need you to just listen, and it’s important to ask that. Being judged and overlooked gave me the ability to notice when someone else feels that way and taught me what to say to them.
