No, you don’t need to call an electrician quite yet! Just google changing out light fixtures. And be sure to tell google about the age of your house in case there is no grounding wire. (My house is as built in 1950 so I’ve been trying to fix the things). You can do this!

Black and Decker complete guide to wiring, will teach you everything you need to know about electrical for simple diy. But definitely don't do anything you're not confident with because it can be dangerous. But learning how to reinstall a light is very straightforward and definitely in your wheelhouse
