Sometimes a girl just wants to switch things up and do something for HERSELF! And that’s exactly what my curl friend wanted! She wanted a fresh look, something low-maintenance, and an opportunity to relearn her natural hair all over again. We decided to keep some length and focus more on shaping with my shears instead of doing a tapered cut. Why? Because tapered cuts can require more frequent salon visits, and she wanted something she could easily maintain and style at home. For styling, I used The Doux Crazy Sexy Curl Foam and Block Party Anti-Humidity Gel. Even though she didn’t want a crunchy cast, this combination gave her soft, defined curls with just enough hold!
