True story: on Fort Polk in Louisiana one time there was a cat stuck in the tree, so we called the Fire Department (because that’s what movies have taught us to do) and the guy at the Fire Department assured us that when the cat got hungry enough, it would come down on its own. I wasn’t sure, so I asked how he could be so sure, and he said “have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?”

I could not watch this if it was my cat. I would have to go inside and wait. It's much too scary. What if the poor baby fell? Thank you to the rescuer for all you do. We need to have drones that can rescue cats from trees.

LinnyLou :
Cats claw shape enable going up but coming down is a different story. Also my cat tore her claw running up the tree to escape a predator and then the pain kept her up there. Don’t let your cats outside is the answer.
