I saw an ECMO cannula across the atrial septum and chilling in the LA. 😱 Ran to get a grown up and the HF doc was like, "Oh yeah, we did that on purpose. It's our first time doing it." Sir, I'm gonna need you to start putting that on the order. 😒

So I had myocarditis and has an EF of 5%, I then ended up on ecmo and had a transplant EF with the new heart is now 70%. I had the same tech do one of my post transplant echos and she was like oh wow I’m not allowed to say anything but this new heart looks a lot better than the old one 😂
