@60minutes: “In the past two elections that I oversaw as lieutenant governor, the threats were all external. Non-state actors, cybersecurity threats, and other things,” says Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson. “But now we also have threats coming from within our own government,” she says. Last year, the Justice Department demanded Utah’s “statewide voter registration list," which includes voters’s confidential personal information. Henderson says she had never seen a request like it before. She refused to provide it. A top Justice Department official told 60 Minutes: “We've had investigations ongoing for over a year [into cases of noncitizen voting], and it takes time.
