@mush3231: I need a good art tablet suggestion that’s cheap and still affordable I wanna upgrade from my Apple Pencil and iPad😭 #art #arttablet #artist #fyp
I got my Huion kamvas on sale and love it. The paper like feel of the screen without it looking foggy like the matte screen protector on my iPad is nice. Don’t have to charge the pen either, which shows how long it’s been since I’ve had a graphic tablet for my computer 😂 but that said I still use my iPad a lot bc sitting at the computer is next to impossible right now. I like that it comes with a stand but I did have to get a special cable for my regular monitor bc my computer only has one hdmi port. Has like four ports for video that aren’t hdmi so I needed the hdmi for the huion and a new cord for my regular screen if I wanted to use them both together. Otherwise the huion would have been ok for a monitor, untill I wanted to play a game.

to be honest, apple is still good if you’re using stuff like procreate or clip studio paint. a lot of the ones i could recommend need to be hooked up to a computer or a laptop, so portability isn’t as good. if you want specifically something like the ipad, huion and wacom have standalone tablets for about $500 (check their refurbished options too, they may have cheaper ones there). xpen may also have something too

Personally I recommend XP pen! They have a wide variety in sizes and pricing (lots of budget friendly options)! I recently switched to the artist 19 pro and it was really similar to higher end professional tablets like the Cintiq and is half the price of one :3

I have the artist 13.3 pro (the XP PEN brand i think ?)
It needs to be connected to a laptop and is $280 (discounted at $210 rn) so idk if thats considered cheaper for an art tablet but uhhh mine works very well !!

More of a sidegrade but i’ve used the same wacom intuous for seven years now and i’ve had no issues with it. Just have a computer that can run csp or krita (i use firealpaca personally) and you should be fine. This is definitely one of the more affordable options as they generally run less than 50 dollars nowadays
