Meet Nafisa! She's just 7 years old, and she's the first student to kick-start something new we're doing at The Pattern Project! So, we recently started a new series called “DO YOU KNOW?” and the idea is simple. We want our kids to not just learn, but also be able to teach others what they've learned. You know what they say, one of the best ways to learn is to teach, right? So we're giving our students the opportunity to create short educational videos where they share interesting things they've learned, while also building their confidence and getting comfortable speaking in front of a camera. Now, here's the interesting part! 😂 When we first introduced the idea, even some of our older students were a bit scared to try. But guess who volunteered to go first? Our 7-year-old Nafisa! 🥹 She stepped up, gave it a try, and just like that, opened the door for the others to follow. That's what makes this particular video special. It's not just about what she's teaching. It's about the confidence and courage it took to stand up and try something new. In this first episode, Nafisa teaches us something about the keyboard that I'm sure a lot of people don't even know. Have you ever wondered why the F and J keys on your keyboard have those little raised lines? ⌨️ Well, let Nafisa teach you something today! 😂❤️ This is just the beginning of our DO YOU KNOW? series, and we're really excited to see how far these kids will go.
