My grandma made these and it was requested every holiday, it’s so yummy! She used a whole stick of butter and a couple other tweaks but mmmm so good!

As someone who also didn't know what parboiled rice was, I googled it, it's rice that was partially boiled in its husk before the milling process. It's supposed to be a little bit healthier than regular rice & it's like 10 cents cheaper than regular rice at my Walmart. But my question is or really assumption, I'm assuming it tastes different right? does it cook different?

My mom made this all my life, but she browned pork chops and her skillet, remove the pork chops and put the rice, consume soup, beef, bouillon, and she added sliced mushrooms and diced onions, and she put the pork chops back on top of the rice mixture and covered it and let it simmer until the rice was done. That was the best rice, but those were also the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten.
