Апелляционная коллегия Восточно-Казахстанского областного суда отменила первоначальный приговор бывшему руководителю КГП «Таза Оскемен» и экс-депутату городского маслихата Усть-Каменогорска Асхату Таженову, его заместителю Ардаку Абдильдинову и предпринимателю Игорю Федосову. Вместо него суд вынес новое решение, изменив квалификацию уголовного правонарушения. Всем троим назначили по семь лет лишения свободы. Ранее суд первой инстанции признал фигурантов виновными в мошенничестве в особо крупном размере. По версии обвинения, их действия причинили государственному учреждению ущерб на сумму 61,2 млн тенге. Первоначальные сроки лишения свободы составляли от пяти до шести с половиной лет. Апелляционная инстанция переквалифицировала действия осуждённых с пункта 2 части 4 статьи 190 Уголовного кодекса Казахстана на пункт 2 части 4 статьи 189, предусматривающий ответственность за присвоение или растрату вверенного чужого имущества при отягчающих обстоятельствах.
