@miaphysite7: The season of flowers❤️#orthodox #christiantiktok #ethiopianorthodox #fyp #copticorthodox @ᴸᴵᴳᴴᵀ . The Season of Tsige (ጽጌ) is a special season in both the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Churches. It honors the Virgin Mary, who is symbolically compared to a beautiful flower. During this season, the Church holds special prayers, hymns, and spiritual celebrations. Tsige reminds Christians of the Virgin Mary’s purity, holiness, and role in the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time of spiritual joy, devotion, and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Christ.
