@60minutes: “The core idea of Ali G was, I thought, ‘Would it be funny to have the world expert in something with the biggest idiot in the world?’” says Sacha Baron Cohen, who plays the fictional character. Baron Cohen unleashed Ali G, a hip-hop idiot, on dozens of prominent figures, including Donald Trump, a former U.S. surgeon general, and 60 Minutes’ Andy Rooney. #sachabaroncohen #alig #comedy
