many states give convicted felons once they're released from their sentence or incarceration most of their rights back including the vote and some states at some point can give you back your right to have firearms. some states you have to motion the court and other other states like Kansas it is automatically restored for most offenders. but here's what most people don't know, if you are a person under the 14th Amendment as a federal US citizen you can vote, take elected office, set on a jury, have a driver's license tags and registration among other things because you are a US citizen. but what most don't know is that a 14th amendment US citizen has very little privileges and immunities and they don't even have all of the Bill of Rights. if you read the incorporation doctrine on the Cornell Law School free website it will tell you this. but as part of the class of persons under the 14th Amendment you are not the class of people that the constitution was made by and for their posterity. the class of people are the people of the Constitution and they are a sovereign people according to the US supreme Court in dred Scott V Sanford. but if you are a part of the class of persons in the dred Scott case you originally had absolutely no rights in the USA, and that is exactly why the 14th amendment was made for those class of persons to have some protections and immunities within the 14th Amendment with the due process clause and the equal protection clause. but you also don't know is All State statutes codes and rules our only for the class of persons that are the 14th Amendment Federal US citizen. let me repeat this, the 14th Amendment Federal US citizen are the only ones that the state laws apply to and the state laws say it in their own statutes did they only apply to persons that reside in the state and lawfully within the US which is exactly what the 14th Amendment Federal US citizen is because they give allegiance to the US located in DC, technically not to the USA because the USA are the states of the Union in the Republic that is for the class of people that are sovereign. let that sink in for a little bit
