That's God's Image and Likeness In Me! It's Not Being Lazy, It's Spiritual Suspension of God's Personal Attention, while the Spoken Prophecies are At Work! The NT is a Sequel to the OT of the Bible!!

👀 So there’s actually a way to shut off YouTube Shorts for your kid’s account completely. It’s strict. Non-dismissible. Locked. The why this matters part. A September 2025 review in the American Psychological Association’s Psychological Bulletin pulled together 71 studies covering nearly 100,000 people. Heavy short-form video use was linked to worse attention, weaker impulse control, and higher rates of depression, anxiety, and stress. Developing brains showed the strongest effects. And that’s not to mention the risk of what they might see. 😳 ⚠️ Important thing to know before you go looking for the setting. In Family Center, accounts are grouped under either “YouTube Kids” or “YouTube and YouTube Music.” The Time Management option, including the Shorts feed limit, only shows up on accounts under YouTube and YouTube Music. If your kid’s account is grouped under YouTube Kids, you won’t see Time Management at all. That’s not a bug. The good news: YouTube Kids is a separate profile or app and doesn’t have a Shorts feed in the first place. So if your young child is using YouTube Kids, the problem is already solved. Shorts simply don’t exist in that app. Turn off Shorts on your own account or your older kid’s account: ✅ Open the YouTube app signed in with your account (or your linked parent account) ✅ Tap your profile (bottom right), then Settings ✅ Tap Family Center for you kid, skip to next step for yours. Then select your kid’s under YouTube and YouTube Music) ✅ Tap Time Management, then Shorts Feed Limit ✅ Set the limit to 0 minutes and save 📋 For younger kids: ✅ Use the YouTube Kids app instead of regular YouTube ✅ No Shorts feed to worry about ✅ You also get content level controls, session timers, and approved-content-only mode 🔒 Bonus move on supervised accounts: while you’re in Family Center, disable Autoplay. Autoplay is what turns one video into forty. Shutting it off forces intentional choices. Follow CybersecureDad to keep your family safe online.
