We already paid for Bart decades ago. We already paid too much taxes and Bart. Just waste it. Tell the union to get real, cut wages 10%, cut wages of executives 20%, fire half the Board of Directors. There I just balanced the budget.

They don’t need more money, they need to manage what they have properly. Hire more officers instead of paying 100s of thousands in overtime. Stop paying executives 100s of thousands annually, over 2000 employees make over 100k out of 4000 employees, that’s not sustainable.

This video is misleading. It’s a 1% sales tax, not $0.01. That’s $0.01 per dollar, in addition to the existing sales tax, which is substantial. It all adds up.

Tax the rich and the corporations! Ridership is down because it’s so wildly inconvenient to get around using public transit. We need a larger network and more frequent service.

People need to be realistic is not being use like New Yorkers use trains for traveling. People in California drive. I haven’t taken the bart in years and in New York I only use the train.
