C5/C6 SCI here and the drs never told me anything positive so I proved them wrong. Today I am walking without any help.

Very different from your issue but I had an eye doctor tell me right in my face “you’re going blind!” It shook me to my core and sent me into a tailspin. I saw the retinal specialist 2 weeks later and he developed a plan. I still have some issues but 4 years later I still have my vision!!

Great explanation. My sons doctor did a great job staying in the grey area of honesty without pessimism but I’m sure not all docs do

experience with the medical industry with parents, aunts and uncles made me realize just how absolute 💩 75% of physicians are and I'm in San Francisco where I had access to UCSF, Stanford.... it made me avoid the doctor prob to an unhealthy degree
