The other one apparently works there now. Fine. Two. Different hobbies. It means your individuality survived the wedding. Three. Different ways of decompressing. One of you talks a lot. And one of you doesn't. Four. Minor personality quirks. Because they've been doing that thing with the spoon for 14 years. Let it go. Five. Every difference in parenting style. Alignment matters, but identical humans are not required. Six. Every bad mood. Sometimes your partner needs support. Sometimes they need a sandwich. Seven. Each other. That's the big one. Your partner is not your renovation project. Love them, challenge them, grow beside them. But stop standing there with a clipboard inspecting all the ways they still aren't finished.
