@its_whatsername_2_u: #California Man Accused of Killing Wife, Burning Her Body, Then Claiming #ICE Took Her While She Checked the Mail Gurinder Gill, 28, has been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife, Jasmine Gill, 30, after investigators say his story about her disappearance unraveled. Jasmine was last seen at the couple's #Sacramento , California, home on September 30. When she was reported missing by a #cousin on October 4, Gurinder allegedly claimed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had taken her into custody while she was outside checking the mail. According to authorities, he claimed she was wearing white pajamas with red polka dots at the time. However, investigators contacted ICE and were told that no enforcement activity had taken place at the couple's residence. Detectives also reportedly discovered inconsistencies in Gurinder's account as they continued investigating her disappearance. The case took a devastating turn when burned human remains were discovered in #ElDoradoCounty on October 1, just one day after Jasmine was last seen. Authorities later confirmed that the remains belonged to Jasmine.
