The very first time I traveled to Japan, I landed in Kansai and took the train to Shin Osaka. and my very first Japanese food experience was at at the Matsuya branch in Shin-Osaka and I had gyudon! It was divine! Then I get to experience more sophisticated Japanese cuisine but that very first gyudon in Matsuya with their very complicated ordering machine (at least for me!) was unforgettable. :)

I don’t know, even the beef is premium, it’s still Matsuya beef bowl, same goes with Yoshinoya. That’s how I feel. Would you spend $20 for McDonald’s with wagyu beef?
