Lamiley's performance was hands down the most creative, authentic, educational, and standout performance tonight. The originality, stage presence, and artistic expression truly set it apart from the rest. Tiwaa was equally impressive (effortlessly eloquent). I actually had her for the best performance until Lamiley showed up with her originality. Sessinam (love her) did well too, even though it was a bit lengthy. Nana Konadu did absolutely well. Ampomaa did great, but the sound didn't help her, and there was a bit of overexaggeration in the dance performance, but culturally the message was clear. Ayinboma had a few lapses with her transitions, but she nailed it towards the end. Kudos to all the ladies.

If you are a wealthy businessperson, an influential entrepreneur, an MP, a minister or a prominent figure in society, what is the essence of your wealth and influence if you cannot use it to support talent from your own backyard? 🤔 Greater Accra is home to some of Ghana’s biggest businesspeople, corporate executives and influential personalities. But when Lamiley needed massive support to turn her outstanding performances into votes, could we have done more for her? This lady represented our culture with pride, delivered remarkable performances and earned multiple Star Performer honours. She gave us reasons to rally behind her. But talent alone does not win a competition that also depends on public votes. Supporting your own goes beyond posting pictures, praising their performances and celebrating their achievements. Sometimes, it means mobilising people, contributing resources and encouraging others to vote. Our wealthy and influential people need to understand that their influence should mean something beyond their personal success. If we cannot come together to support our own when it matters most, then we must ask ourselves: what is the true value of all that wealth and influence? 🇬🇭💔
