I am sorry. But you've paid 9-10k plus you're still going to pay monthly payments and an additional 8k payment in March. The fact you're paying 20k plus for a venue is crazy.

They dont allow to do payments the way you were doing, I had my girls 15 there and all they allow it was to do a big payment that would cover 2 months. If im not mistaken in the contract it marks that if they don’t see payments the event gets cancelled

i really hope they can work something out with you maybe their smaller hall if available on Preston that’s a lot of $$. i went there but they were booked elsewhere. the hall i we booked 2 1/2 years in advance and the contract had we had to have a certain percentage of all paid 1 year prior to event and every month a certain amount or late fee will be added. however the full balance needed to be paid 90 days prior to event. alor of halls are like that. i too took something verbal on an outside vendors but that i owned up too lesson learned. we just did away with that vendor just cause the extra money for outside vendor wasn’t worth it. fingers crossed there’s a something in the contract that would benefit your suit.
