Mostly 400-600 lb feeder calves. Born this spring and now headed to a feed lot somewhere for a few years. These calves were someone’s livelihood, their pride, their recent purchase, their top sellers at the sale, their bottle babies, etc etc

This happened to on our property once. The semi (full of cows) took this corner too sharp and it crushed and crippled most of the cows that when they started to run or limp onto our land from the hwy, we started putting them out of their misery as they literally suffered and the fish and game told us to stop and just let them die as is cuz it wasn’t our call to shot someone else’s herd. Honestly still bothers me today.

The cattle ministry sure got down on her knees and gave the government BJ’s to exempt them from a lot of stuff. It’s such a hot load dig at 5000 miles overnight and it would be mandatory to run teams. The government makes companies run teams on hot value target loads for the military why can’t teams run cattle?
