South Africa🇿🇦 did it again, my people did again . When the world thinks we are a country full of hate and division, we show them who we really are. Sidney Hill was hijacked with his daughter in the car. Instead of running away to save himself, he stood and fought those armed criminals to protect his child. The video broke our hearts, but it also made us angry, because every parent in this country knows that fear. So why did South Africans raise R180,000 for him? Why did thousands of strangers open their wallets for a man they have never met? It is because Sidney represents every father in Mzansi who works hard, buys a car with sweat, and just wants to take his child to school safely without being robbed or killed. South Africans donated because they saw themselves in him. They saw their own father, their own brother, their own husband fighting back against a crime that has held this country hostage for too long. And most importantly, we did it because of Ubuntu. The real Ubuntu that still lives in our townships, in our suburbs, in our hearts. That money is not just R180,000. It is a message. R180,000 will not erase the trauma his daughter felt. It will not erase the memory of that gun. But it says one thing loud and clear Sidney, you are not alone. You did what any good father would do, and your country stands behind you.. Salute to you Sidney Hill, you are a true superhero and a real man. And salute to every South African who donated R10, R20, R50. You have shown the world once again that Mzansi has a heart of gold. -Uncle Bra T
