At this point, if he got a job today, you wouldn’t see a paycheck for 3 weeks so you guys had to of had at least 5 months in bills in the bank? At minimum, that’s 30,000 plus dollars just chillen? And that’s if you two haven’t done a damn thing in this time off??? If you did, that’s awesome cuz most people don’t have anything close to that. Or he was given a very substantial severance package.

My daughter graduated college in May with a cybersecurity degree she got multiple extra certifications and not one interview!! This market is crazy and we are all just praying for better but I’d love to know what is going on ppl loosing jobs/ppl not getting jobs/ nut jobs are hiring… and not much OT avail… smh what’s going on?

check the report on true unemployment it is 25 percent of the Citizens in the USA. If you can get a job it is much much less them they were making. Heard a woman who was a flight attendant who was making 50 an hour was finally able to get a kob at target for 16.50 an hour.

My husband was let go a month ago after he came back from an approved FMLA for mental health. He was the GM for 6 years and never took a sick day. At the end of 2024 he got shingles on his face from stress and it was just a struggle for him after that. This company fired his 2 sales manager and the service manager at the end of 2023 and never hired anybody as a replacement. Who do u think took that heavy load on though? Yeah, my husband. He came home the day he was let go and looked me dead in my face and said “I’m not going back.. I will never again work for another company, we’re starting our own.” We hit the floor running and are taking a big risk, but if it means that he never has to work for another soul sucking company again.. that’s a win in our eyes. It’s brutal out there.. my heart goes out to everyone out there who our just trying to survive at this point.
