@vans.total.fitnes: Why the crucifix fell on the priest in Ecuador is still unexplained. The heavy wooden crucifix had hung on the wall above the altar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Guayaquil. During evening Mass it came loose and struck Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, who died of his injuries. Church officials have not explained what caused the crucifix to detach. Local authorities had not commented, the Associated Press reported. Whether faulty fittings or damage to the wall played a part has not been made public. Until there is an answer, the fall of the crucifix that k*lled the priest remains unexplained in Guayaquil. Sources: Associated Press, South China Morning Post
