Is your vision affected at night due to you having vestibular neuritis?

I have vestibular migraine. Does anyone ever get waves of anxiety that can last 10 mins or 4 hours? I will be sitting doing and thinking of absolutely nothing and anxiety just comes over me. Makes me sick. Can happen several times a day. I usually drink electrolytes and it helps a lot

Have all of the dizzy symptoms! I think I have Pppd. And I’m also nervous to travel or drive long car rides! The steady coach has been helping so many people with this condition. I’m starting her course. Fear triggers my dizziness!

Neuritis is an infection that requires antibiotics and steroids. There shouldn’t be any flare ups after treatment.

Ok so I was never properly diagnosed with neuritis but I did pop hot for significant vestibular dysfunction. I was sick for months and was prescribed a steroid for something unrelated (I have chronic inflammation in my chest ribs) and BOOM no more dizziness. No lie, 3 days in and it was like a switch flipped and it never came back. This was after probably 4 months of dizziness so bad I thought I was dying. I had PTSD already anyway but this added anxiety and depression to the mix. Once it settled, my nervous system finally regulated and I have been doing a million times better.

I plan everything and have to trust who I’m with. My life has changed but I try to not let it get the best of me. It is a daily effort.

Just throwing this out there but could any of that be attributed to your vagus nerve? I suffered from so much and after I started massaging my neck for my vagus nerve and sleeping on my back to support my neck did this get better. I also started hrt. Now when I travel I don’t get any symptoms.

So real! I took a flight alone and the anxiety is so real. I’ve been working through these emotions with my therapist. The anxiety and depression that comes from living with dizziness is real. Our life completely changed, and it takes time to overcome that retrain our brains to make it realize that we are safe. Sending you a hug friend. You’re not alone 🫂 ❤️

Sadly, I have to take meds every now and then. I have been going through this since June. I am exhausted. I have good days and not so good days. Feels like I’m going to literally die. It sucks

I haven’t left my house now in over a month. Prior to that I always had to be with someone who understood that I would have an episode when I’m out. I’m much safer at home now 💖

All the time. I am a Wedding florist and I always have to take an extra person to ride in one of the vehicles just in case I have an issue and can’t drive back. The anxiety of the dizziness I feel like it comes more from the anxiety of having the dizziness and actually being dizzy. I don’t want to run anybody else fun at any of our family events because I have an issue so then the anxiety of that builds and builds.

VM here. 20 years. Dizziness while traveling for me is related to weather. Flying to the SE a crap shoot. Went to disney one year when hurricanes were hovering just outside of Fla. Couldn't walk straight. Couldn't sleep on my back. Didnt drive. Didn't ride any rides. I walked around parks, waited on benches while my family did rides and enjoyed the weather, being with my family, not working . Have to really learn to find joy and happy in small things. Past two years (of 20) have been awful. I am afraid to fly or go anywhere right now. This never happened before. Not sure why. Anxiety is building. Panic attacks. Sorry you are having trouble. Terrible to have.
