@goddesscreationsjax: In life, sometimes you do the scary things for the people you love. ❤️‍🩹 The first scary thing I ever did was get a tattoo in honor of my dad. It says “KEEP IT 100” with a beautiful crescent moon surrounding it. 🌙 He always valued how real I was with him, how I showed up as myself, 100% of the time. I got that tattoo because my dad was terrified of undergoing major surgery to remove a tumor caused by his cancer. I wanted him to see that if his baby girl could face her fears, so could he. Little did we know that three years later, we would fulfill a promise I made that day: we would jump out of a plane together. ✈️🩵 What I never could have imagined was that just six months later, I would have to learn how to live in a world without you, as you returned home to God. Dad, this journey through grief has been the hardest thing I've ever faced. Some days, finding the strength to keep moving forward feels impossible. But I carry your courage, your love, and your spirit with me in every mile, every adventure, and every fear I choose to face. Grief hasn't stopped me from living, and it shouldn't stop you either. ❤️ Life is too precious to spend it waiting until we're no longer afraid. Do the scary thing. Take the trip. Make the memories. Tell people you love them. Chase the dream. You never know how much time you have, but you can choose what you do with the time you're given. I jumped out of that plane with my dad, and I'll carry that memory for the rest of my life. His wings may have carried him home to God, but his courage continues to carry me forward. 🕊️💙 Keep it 100, Dad.
