I have an 04 325ci, it has the same engine as this. A good thing to do is replace that valve cover with an aluminum one. Trust it will go a long way, the stock one isn’t the best especially if temps fluctuate in your area. Even if the cover is good, I’d do it as a preventative because if your cover goes it could damage surrounding parts.
