Her boyfriend, Lorenzo Lamas, was at her side. Locklear, 65, joined a fan panel at 90s Con in Hartford, Conn., on Sunday, Oct. 18. Lamas, 68, did not take part in the panel. Daphne Zuniga, Laura Leighton, Grant Show, Rob Estes, and Jack Wagner did. The cast talked about how “crazy” some of the storylines were. Locklear said that through it all, she would go home, take a nap, and feel grounded. Melrose Place debuted on Fox in July 1992. It was a spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210. The show was not a huge success at first. That changed when Locklear’s character, Amanda Woodward, became a series regular in season 2. Estes said some of his favorite scenes were with Locklear. He said he already had a crush on “Heather and Amanda.” He said set life was more relaxed back then. Locklear and Lamas began dating months ago, according to TMZ. In April, Lamas told Fox News Digital that he found love with her more than 40 years after they first met. They once posed together on the cover of Playgirl. “She is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met,” he said. On her 65th birthday, Lamas posted a photo of them cutting her cake. “Happy Birthday to my Queen today,” he wrote.
