Repost because I love this topic! There are many examples of miracles still occurring in today's world. Let's look at two examples: 1.Harvard and Indiana University professor Candy Gunther Brown chose to test whether or not miracles occur in Mozambique, as she had heard about this phenomenon occurring there. She and her team travelled to Mozambique and scientifically tested both hearing and visually impaired people, testing and noting the extent of their impairment. After this was documented, they then had people come and pray (to the Christian God) for these people. Those who were prayed for experienced significant improvement in their conditions, and were tested again to prove so. The improvement was so great that the report noted that the proximal intercessory prayer exceeded the results of hypnosis and other types of suggestion. These diseases are incurable and life threatening. They prevented her from properly digesting food and caused her great pain. One day, when she was nine, years after her diagnoses, she climbed a tree with her sister, and, not realizing the tree was hollow inside, fell thirty feet inside. She was trapped for about five hours. During that time, she claims to have visited Heaven and even met Jesus before he sent her back to Earth (this is called a near death experience). Amazingly, she suffered no severe injuries from this fall. Not only this, but after the fall and her claim of meeting Jesus, she no longer suffers from her diseases; she has no symptoms of them and is able to live a normal life.
