It's going to be a rough day when she discovers Chinese people who don't fit the beauty standard (aka those with darker skin). Also, there have been tons of Chinese games that are able to give players characters with darker skin tones. Not to mention Japanese games that also came from a place that has lighter skin as the beauty standard.

the argument of it caters towards a beauty standard is so illogical, it makes significantly more sense to appeal towards character depictions that are common folk rather than models because common folk are the ones playing your game, personally I'd prefer to llay someone who looks like me to a beauty standard rooted in discrimination. Especially because a large chunk of the Chinese population have a more olive or darker skin tone compared to the beauty standard

The entirely of natlan is based of cultures with African, Polynesian and other influences and some how the god is whiter than snow not to meant all of dark skin characters are legit have slight tan (the darkest being fucking grey) I feel at certain points leave other cultures out of the game if you can respect the people behind it
