mgk: "If I start a song with that ad lib, it means I'm about to rap my a-- off." mgk plays a snippet of an unreleased track from his upcoming album. 👀 📝: mgk played a brief snippet of an unreleased track featuring an ad-lib that offers a glimpse into the sound of his upcoming album, set for release next year. The moment took place while he was speaking onstage at Morning Buzz, hosted by mgk of 27 Club Coffee, as part of the Norwegian Cruise Line Rooftop Series during the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Invesco QQQ at The Rooftop at Pier 17, South Street Seaport in New York City on October 18, 2026. mgk said, “As a gift to my fans for sticking out with me so long when everyone was like, what are things we can expect on this album and stuff... There was one thing I used to do all the time back in the day when I was doing albums, there were songs that I would start out with a certain ad lib. All these fans were asking if I would bring it back on this album. I was in the studio the other day, and then I just randomly said it. I was like... Listen closely.” He then played a snippet of an unreleased track from his phone, giving fans a preview of the “Kells” ad-lib. mgk then said, “I'll just hit that back one more time cause if you know, you know, but hold on... This one is specifically for the ones who have been waiting for this moment for a while.” mgk then played the snippet one more time. He went on to explain to Anthony Anderson, “Basically, Anthony, what that means... If I start a song with that ad lib, it means I'm about to rap my a-- off.” mgk left the stage after saying, “Kells.” 🎥: itiok via KakaoTalk #mgk #machinegunkelly #colsonbaker @mgk - @mgkmagic
