Girl… I broke my tailbone on the corner of a step! It was awful pain and sitting was not fun!! Stock up on that ibuprofen now even if it doesn’t hurt yet

My friend fell on his and broke a spot in his back. But he fell 10foot. I’ve fallen on mine and it hurt but I was always told not to lay around nursing stuff because it can get stiff and then more painful. But I’m at a loss on how to work out your tailbone. lol. Sorry.

blow up pillow for chairs. Had to use mine even driving. Did same thing on bleachers. i hope yours does better than mine. I was in bed on my side for days!!!

I slipped at the top of the stairs (6 steps) was up in the air and landed on the bottom step right on my tailbone. I laid on the landing for a bit I think from more shock than anything else but also in pain. About a day later was when my whole body was stiff and couldn’t sit directly on my bum for about a month. I used a butt pillow and switched on and off with a heating pad and ice. I also no longer walk around the house especially on stairs with just my socks [Teary eyed]

I had a client fall down her steps, come in for a hair color. She was sore thought not much of it. A few days went by, she went to the dr and had broke her back.

I slipped and fell down stairs 3 yrs ago and my tail bone bounce down 5 steps as I fell all the way down. I was in excruciating pain went to urgent care and found out my tail bone was broken. You need an xray.

If your pain persists, insist on an xray. They kept telling my husband he didn’t need one because they don’t do anything for a tailbone fracture but when he finally got one months later, a chunk of his tail bone had migrated and was fusing to his lower spine.

I fell directly on my tailbone when I was a mental health counselor and one of our clients failed the trust fall and catching me lol I did get an x-ray and there’s not a lot they can do for a fractured tailbone. Mine was bruised not fractured but anytime you think you might have fractured something get an x-ray girl. Nothing horrific it’s gonna happen if it is fractured, but you need to know and you need to know if your spine is OK
