She said she leaned over to tie her shoes and heard “pop pop pop.” Sweetin said they ran off. Then they had to wait for two station wagon taxis, since it was before Uber. They were late. After that, she said, Saget drove her home and had to explain to her mom what happened. “Bob was not always my mom’s favorite,” she joked. John Stamos asked how the story never reached the press. Sweetin said she sometimes wonders if it really happened. “I was there and I doubt that it happened, but it actually did,” she said.
