@w_rosepov: but yeah....i signed up for this 😭 ••• Snowdrop is a political melodrama set against the backdrop of the 1987 Democracy Movement in South Korea. The story follows Eun Yeong-ro, a warm-hearted college student who discovers a bloody, wounded graduate student, Lim Soo-ho, hiding in her dormitory room. Believing he is a pro-democracy protestor fleeing the government's brutal Agency for National Security Planning (ANSP), she risks expulsion to hide and nurse him back to health. However, a shocking twist reveals that Soo-ho is actually a deep-cover North Korean spy under strict orders. As their forbidden romance develops, they become trapped in a high-stakes, armed hostage crisis inside the university dormitory, where their lives are weaponized by corrupt political factions from both North and South Korea to manipulate an upcoming presidential election. ••• Set in 1932 Gyeongseong (modern-day Seoul) during the Japanese colonial occupation, 100 Days of Deception follows Lee Ga-gyeong (Kim You-jung), a top pickpocket who dreams of earning enough money to escape to America. Her life changes when a theft entangles her with an anti-Japanese independence group, the Gugukdan. Forced into a dangerous 100-day undercover mission, she infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Joseon disguised as an interpreter trainee. There, her perilous operation collides with Kim Tae-woong (also known as Sato Hideo, played by Park Jin-young), a sharp elite government interpreter with a complicated past and divided loyalties, dragging both into a high-stakes web of political intrigue, betrayal, and romance. ••• #JungHaein #Jisoo #KimYooJung #Snowdrop #100DaysofDeception
