I had something like that happen. Guy took off after the job was 75% done. Didn’t hear back from him even after calling and texting. He never came back to finish the job. Luckily my dad knew how to finish it. Come to find out the guy got sick but I didn’t hear from him for months, over a cold? No heads up? No apologies? Just straight up cut contact
