Even people who waited an hour dropped out half way! Good things come to those who wait. Aka free drink and plush😂 The staff was nice to tell everyone at the back of the line that the line was 2.5 hours and plushies weren’t guaranteed, but we took the risk anyway😝 GOAL: I was hoping for the sunflower one or pink pot with hanging leaves one but ofc they ran out. Also apparently some of the earliest people waited 4 hours so I guess coming later helped but less plush options. DRINK & SERVICE REVIEW: cool thing was the free customizations, I asked what’s the most expensive drink and the barista said strawberry matcha and that I can do alt milk and cream top. I opted for no cream top cause I wanted to try the matcha without the cream affecting it but later I regretted not adding it cause the strawberry matcha latte had a strong matcha flavor so the cream top could balance out the bitterness. All the staff were friendly and i didn’t feel rushed. While I was walking to the cafe, I saw people with their green cartons walking away all smiley and adoring their cute plushies so I think it was a wholesome event! I had never been to bonsai so wasn’t sure if the whole greenhouse overlay was limited time for the event but it’s so cute I hope it stays. #lapopups #greenhouseplush #bonsaicoffeebar #lacoffeeshops #aestheticcafes
