This why you have people believing that one should always be “humble” at all times, but they themselves don’t really believe that. They are merly parroting thing taught by others so they can fit in. Seem like they have real advice, real knowledge, when in fact people are performing because they aren’t allowed to think for themselves so they have to “get people back in line” to be just like them a “follower” because they they lack courage to break free because they are scared of being cast aside or stand on their own and think for oneself. If they ever figure it out that they are being used, they’d leave religion too.
