@markkennebeck: This tops the list as the most “interesting” ways to celebrate a birthday! This year's birthday, in August, 2 days after an 18 hour surgery, I was hooked up to machines, with a port in my arm, tubes coming out of me, and I was barely able to see; my birthday cake was ice cream being fed to me by a nurse! Still can't believe that was almost 2 months ago!
