🔥 THIS WAS THE NIGHT JADAKISS REMINDED AN ENTIRE GENERATION WHY HIS NAME BELONGS IN THOSE TOP-MC CONVERSATIONS. On August 3, 2021, The LOX — Jadakiss, Styles P & Sheek Louch — went into the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden for their legendary VERZUZ battle against Dipset. Harlem vs. Yonkers. Two iconic New York crews. But once that battle got rolling, Jadakiss turned the stage into his personal playground. 🎤🗽 (Complex) 😤 KISS WAS ON A MISSION THAT NIGHT. He talked his talk, controlled the crowd, called Dipset out for performing over tracks with their vocals still on them — and then backed EVERYTHING up with bars. One of the coldest moments came when he performed his legendary freestyle over Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya?” Then when the conversation turned to who really had a New York anthem, Kiss unleashed his verse from Ja Rule’s “New York” and had Madison Square Garden going crazy. The official VERZUZ upload of that “New York” performance has been watched more than 5 million times. 🔥🏆 (YouTube) 💯 What people sometimes forget is that The LOX PREPARED for this battle like it actually mattered. Jadakiss later explained that VERZUZ might be a celebration, but it’s still a battle — and you have to take your craft seriously. Their team rehearsed, strategically built the setlist and came prepared with additional records. That preparation, mixed with decades of chemistry between Kiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch, turned this into one of VERZUZ’s most talked-about nights. Salute THE LOX and salute Jadakiss for putting on a masterclass in what LIVE MCing is supposed to look like. 🐐🎤 (Complex) 🫡 And BIG flowers to VERZUZ, Swizz Beatz & Timbaland for creating a platform that gave Hip-Hop nights like this. If you’ve only seen this Jadakiss clip, go back and watch The LOX vs. Dipset VERZUZ — because the full battle gives you the real context for why people STILL talk about Kiss’ performance years later. Salute Jadakiss. Salute Styles P. Salute Sheek Louch. Salute Dipset. Salute VERZUZ. 🏦🎤 The Culture Vault — preserving the performances, bars & moments that made Hip-Hop history. #Jadakiss #TheLOX #fyp

What if every email and message automatically became a clean task instead of more noise? Taskary is the local-first task hub that turns your scattered work messages into organized, actionable tasks. Instead of letting emails, chats, and alerts drown you in noise, it funnels everything into one clear timeline. Then, AI triage reads each item, figures out what actually needs doing, and hands the work off to your favorite coding agents. You stay in control, reviewing and approving every step before anything runs. It’s like having a tireless assistant who sorts the chaos, does the busywork, and only pings you when a real decision is needed. Open source: ldbumble/taskuary Spotted on Hacker News.
