@billy.the.bernese: 5am mornings with a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy… and apparently the entire routine revolves around cuddles. 🥹🤎 Welcome to our very realistic early morning puppy routine with Billy, our 7-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, who has absolutely no interest in starting his day without a cuddle. First, it’s a trip into the garden (with a little ice cube bribery to get him back inside 😂), followed by breakfast, complete with his Pooch & Mutt dental powder. Then it’s time to make my morning coffee, under Billy’s very close supervision, of course. But the moment we head towards the sofa, he knows exactly what’s coming. Those big brown eyes, the polite little requests for attention, and finally, his favourite part of the morning: sofa cuddles. 🐾 Life with a giant breed puppy means early starts, muddy paws and a slightly chaotic morning routine, but these quiet moments together before the rest of the world wakes up are genuinely my favourite. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of having a nearly 30kg Bernese Mountain Dog who still thinks he’s a tiny lap puppy. 🤎 Does anyone else’s dog insist on morning cuddles before you can get on with your day?
