I'm sorry love. I was in this same situation a year ago. is there public transportation near you? once upon a time I was a city bus driver and many people would just ride around on the bus all day when it was cold out. I used to see moms going to the different libraries around the state and what not. in my state children under 5 ride free and then you can get a monthly or daily bus pass, and lots of organizations give them out for free many libraries also have passes for museums or aquariums or whatever is close by that they let you borrow for free. also do you have a case manager helping you? many case managers will travel to you so if you find a comfy library you can meet there. I have a case manager through the local mental health agency I feel like their case managers are more versatile and can help with lots of things. is there a YMCA near you? many will give you a family membership for free if you are poor/homeless. also on Facebook join community groups. sometimes people post like moms groups or they have like a hand me down of children's toys or clothes that you could get in on. you might also be able to barter with another mom. also on Facebook search your town/city/county name and buy nothing page. that's a great resource. if you need more ideas please reach out. keep your head up
